Are you an aviation purchasing professional looking to join a growing aircraft engine MRO business supporting some of the industry’s most critical maintenance operations?
We’re supporting a specialist engine repair and overhaul facility in Miami that is looking to hire a Buyer to support procurement activities across engine maintenance, repairs, tooling, consumables and subcontract services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced aviation environment working closely with Production, Planning, Quality and Stockroom teams within a highly regulated FAA Part 145 operation.
The Role: Buyer
You’ll be responsible for sourcing and purchasing aircraft engine parts, consumables, tooling and repair services to support both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activity.
Key responsibilities include:
• Raising and managing RFQs with suppliers
• Negotiating pricing, lead times and commercial terms
• Processing purchase orders and coordinating deliveries
• Expediting critical materials to support engine turnaround times
• Managing subcontracted repairs including NDT, machining and plating
• Ensuring full aviation traceability and certification compliance
• Supporting supplier performance and cost reduction initiatives
• Working closely with production and stockroom teams to minimise downtime
What We’re Looking For: Buyer
• 1–3 years of purchasing, procurement or supply chain experience
• Aviation, aerospace or engine MRO experience strongly preferred
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as Quantum highly advantageous
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, regulated aviation environment
Important Eligibility Requirement
Due to ITAR regulations and government contract requirements, applicants must be either:
• A US Citizen, or
• A US Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
