Tableau Development & Reporting:
Design, develop, and maintain complex Tableau dashboards and reports with advanced calculations, LOD expressions, parameters, and actions.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable, data-driven visualizations.
Optimize Tableau performance by improving extract design, query efficiency, and dashboard layouts.
Develop self-service BI solutions enabling business users to explore data independently.
Tableau Server / Cloud & Administration:
Manage Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud environments including projects, sites, workbooks, data sources, and permissions.
Implement row-level security (RLS) and role-based access control.
Perform user provisioning, group management, and entitlement automation using Tableau REST APIs.
Monitor uploads, refresh schedules, and system performance.
Integration & Embedding:
Integrate Tableau dashboards into Angular-based web applications using:
Tableau JavaScript API ,Tableau Embedding API v3 (preferred)
Implement SSO-based secure embedding and trusted authentication.
Customize embedded Tableau views to align with enterprise UI/UX standards.
REST API & Automation:
Utilize Tableau REST API to:
Automate user creation, updates, and deactivation ,Manage sites, projects, dashboards, and permissions
Trigger extracts refresh and monitor job status
Required Technical Skills:
Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud
Advanced Tableau calculations (LOD, table calculations, actions)
Tableau REST API & JavaScript Embedding API
SQL (advanced queries and performance tuning)
Experience with SSO, OAuth, SAML, RBAC
Hands-on experience with user provisioning and security automation
Data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schemas)
Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate Tableau with data warehouses and cloud platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure SQL, etc.).
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.05/hour - $46.95/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
