Sr. Java Spring Boot Developer (OrderTech - Gemini)

We're seeking a strong backend engineer with hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot) and microservices architecture, along with exposure to BDD-based testing (Python Behave) and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot

• Contribute to API design, integration, and performance optimization across distributed systems

• Participate in backlog refinement, solution design, and sprint deliverables

• Collaborate with QA teams to support BDD-based test automation using Python Behave

• Ensure adherence to coding standards, CI/CD practices, and version control (GitHub)

• Leverage tools like GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and code quality

• Contribute to problem-solving, defect resolution, and production support as needed
  
  

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in:

• Java, Spring Boot

• Microservices architecture (REST APIs, service decomposition)

Experience with:

• Python Behave (BDD framework) or similar BDD tools

• Git/GitHub workflows

Understanding of:

• API testing, integration patterns, and debugging techniques

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $39.30/hour - $61.40/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
