Senior Mainframe Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level mainframe applications. The candidate should handle complex systems, support critical applications, and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance mainframe applications
  Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design (HLD/LLD)

• Perform coding, testing, debugging, and performance tuning

• Handle batch processing and ensure system performance and stability

• Conduct impact analysis and effort estimation

• Provide production support and resolve critical issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and coding standards

• Mentor junior developers
  
  

Required Technical Skills:

• COBOL

• JCL

• DB2

• VSAM

• CICS

• Experience with tools like Endeavor / Changeman / File-Aid / Git

• Knowledge of batch scheduling tools (CA7 / Control-M)

• Strong understanding of SDLC (Agile/Waterfall)

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $40.45/hour - $63.20/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
