Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled SAP BTP – Capability / Configuration Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in enabling enterprise innovation and digital transformation using SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience with SAP BTP and a proven track record of designing, configuring, and deploying cloud-based solutions that integrate seamlessly with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and configure SAP BTP services including Integration Suite, Extension Suite, and Data Management.
- Collaborate with solution architects to develop scalable and secure BTP-based applications.
- Ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance of BTP configurations.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices for SAP BTP service utilization.
- Support end-to-end implementation and integration with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP modules.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for solutions and configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve BTP-related issues in coordination with support teams.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP innovations and propose continuous improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) – Advanced level with 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in configuration, deployment, and capability enablement across the SAP BTP suite.
Skills:
- Experience with SAP UI5 – Intermediate knowledge of custom UI development using SAP UI5 libraries.
- Proficiency in SAP Fiori Elements – Ability to build applications using metadata-driven design principles.
- Familiarity with SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming) Model – Working knowledge of developing cloud-native applications using CAP.
- Experience with Cloud Foundry environment – Understanding of multi-cloud deployment models and service binding in Cloud Foundry.
- Knowledge of ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) – Basic exposure to RAP for extending standard S/4HANA functionalities.
- Integration experience with SAP S/4HANA – Experience integrating BTP solutions with on-premises or cloud S/4HANA systems.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.05/hour - $46.95/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
