Job Title: Release Manager – Cloud Migration

Key Responsibilities
- Release Planning: Define and manage release schedules aligned with cloud migration milestones.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between engineering, operations, business units, and leadership to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely updates on release status, risks, and impacts.
- Coordination: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure readiness and smooth execution of releases.
- Risk & Change Management: Identify potential risks, manage change control processes, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
- Automation & CI/CD: Support automation initiatives and continuous delivery practices to streamline cloud deployments.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track release metrics, post-release outcomes, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed release notes, rollback procedures, and deployment guides.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8-12 years of IT experience with 5 years in Release/Deployment Management in application migration programs.
- Strong understanding of application migration approaches (re-host, re-platform, re-deploy) and workload dependencies.
- exposer with AWS services relevant to app migration: Compute: EC2, Lambda, EKS/ECS
- Proven ability to cut across silos (app, infra, IAM, DevOps, security) and enforce migration readiness before releases.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in application deployment and AWS environment cutovers.
- Exposer on Scaled agile framework
Good to Have
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional or DevOps Engineer.
- Familiarity with application performance testing and workload assessment frameworks.
- Prior experience in regulated industries (banking, insurance, healthcare).
