JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Summary.
We are seeking an experienced SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of production planning processes, with the ability to implement and optimize SAP PPDS solutions for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that business requirements are met and deliver efficient, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation and Configuration:
- Lead the implementation of SAP PPDS modules, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP PPDS solutions.
Process Optimization:
- Assess existing production planning processes and identify opportunities for improvement using SAP PPDS functionalities.
- Design and implement best practices in production planning and scheduling.
Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide ongoing support for SAP PPDS users, troubleshooting issues and optimizing system performance.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues and ensure system integrity.
Training and Documentation:
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP PPDS functionalities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Production, and IT to ensure alignment of PPDS strategies with overall business objectives.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project progress and milestones.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct testing of new functionalities and system upgrades, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and performance standards.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in resolving any identified issues.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master?s degree is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SAP PPDS Consultant or in a similar role.
- Proven track record of successful SAP PPDS implementations in various industries.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP PPDS, including configuration and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, QM).
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and other advanced planning tools is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $46.23/hour - $72.23/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
