Skilled Playwright Test Automation Engineer to design develop and maintain automated test frameworks for modern web applications The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Playwright solid programming skills and a passion for building reliable scalable test solutions within CICD pipelines
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain end to end E2E automated tests using Playwright
Build and enhance test frameworks using JavaScript TypeScript
Automate functional regression and smoke test suites
Integrate Playwright tests into CICD pipelines GitHub Actions GitLab CI Azure DevOps Jenkins etc
Collaborate with developers product owners and QA teams to understand requirements and test scenarios
Execute tests analyze failures and report defects with detailed root cause analysis
Ensure test stability maintainability and optimal execution time
Perform cross browser testing Chromium Firefox WebKit
Leverage Playwright features such as fixtures parallel execution tracing and reporting
Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality best practices
Required skills Qualifications:
Strong experience with Playwright
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
Solid understanding of Test Automation frameworks and design patterns
Experience testing modern web applications SPA frameworks like React Angular Vue
Knowledge of HTML CSS and DOM concepts
Familiarity with REST API testing
Experience with version control systems Git
Hands-on experience with CICD tools
Strong analytical debugging and problem solving skills
Preferred nice to have Skills:
Experience with Cypress Selenium or Puppeteer
Knowledge of BDD tools Cucumber Gherkin
Exposure to performance or accessibility testing
