Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure platform infrastructure on Azure, with a focus on AKS and cloud-native services
Develop and optimize high-performance database solutions, ensuring reliability and scalability
Build and manage data pipelines and integrations using Azure Data Factory
Develop, support, and optimize data processing and analytics workloads using Azure Databricks
Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform, following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
Write and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring, data processing, and operational tooling
Ensure data integrity, security, availability, including backup and disaster recovery strategies
Monitor platform, database, and data pipeline health, proactively resolving performance and reliability issues
Collaborate with application, analytics, and platform teams to support data and infrastructure needs
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for infrastructure, data pipelines, and platform deployments
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
Professional-level experience in database design, SQL, and performance tuning
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation, data processing, and operational tasks
Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) for cloud and data platforms
Experience with Azure Data Factory for data ingestion, orchestration, and pipeline management
Experience with Azure Databricks for data transformation, processing, and analytics
Strong understanding of data security, governance, access control, and compliance
Experience working with Azure cloud-based data and platform services
Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and logging practices (e.g., Prometheus, Azure Monitor)
Nice to Have:
Experience with large-scale data platforms and distributed systems
Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automation frameworks
Knowledge of high availability, failover, and disaster recovery strategies
Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka/Event Hub)
Experience with containerized workloads and microservices architecture
Understanding of SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets)
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $47.90/hour - $74.85/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
