The Industrial Engineer Assembly will be responsible for direct/indirect labor and activities affecting line speed, cycle checks, scrolls and workstation assignments, change control and line balancing. Your role
- Planning direct/indirect labor and activities affecting line speed
- Executing material scrolls and workstation assignments
- Executing cycle checks
- Performing change control and line balancing
- Utilize Lean concepts to identify and eliminate waste
- Perform time/motion studies using MODAPTS
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology or Associate's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
- Minimum 5 years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Ability to interface with all levels of the organization from shop floor to management
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite experience
- Ability to occasionally work alternate shifts or overtime as needed
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- Trained in MODAPTS work measurement system
- Knowledge of time study/standards, ratings, ergonomic evaluations
- Assembly launch experience
- Kitting and indirect labor experience
