A strategic AI architect to set the enterprise AI strategy, define the Agent Fabric, and own architecture, governance, security, controls, and cost across our Azure, AWS, and Snowflake footprint.
What they will own:
Enterprise AI strategy:
Set the roadmap, target-state architecture, and operating model for AI across the organization.
Architecture and platform choices:
Develop a clear point of view on hyperscaler-native (AWS, Azure, Snowflake Cortex) versus open-source alternatives. Drive build-versus-buy decisions and design modular architectures that can evolve as the landscape shifts.
The Agent Fabric:
Define how agents are discovered, orchestrated, and secured across AWS AgentCore, Azure AI Foundry, and Snowflake Cortex with emerging standards like MCP as integration patterns.
Governance, risk, and security:
Set the guardrails that let us scale AI safely NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act and the security architecture for AI and agent workloads.
Controls, auditability, and observability:
Define logging, tracing, and evaluation standards for AI systems and agents. Establish audit trails sufficient for internal audit, regulators, and traceability of agent decisions and autonomous actions.
Cost and FinOps:
Own the economics of AI spend with budget guardrails, audit, and chargeback that finance can defend.
Business engagement:
Trusted advisor to business leaders. Translate AI into trade-offs, risk, and ROI. Present to executives.
The profile we are hiring:
A strategic technologist who has built enterprise AI programs before not a platform specialist. Strong on judgment, governance, and cost economics. Comfortable architecting in a landscape that is still moving and where the right answer changes every few months.
Must have:
10 years in enterprise architecture or data, with proven AI strategy experience at enterprise scale.
Production GenAI experience on at least one major hyperscaler (AWS or Azure).
Strong data warehouse experience (Snowflake preferred; Databricks or BigQuery acceptable).
Solid grounding in AI governance, security, controls, and FinOps.
Excellent executive communication and learning agility.
Nice to have (not required):
Hands-on with AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, GAAB, Azure AI Foundry, or Snowflake Cortex.
Experience defining an Agent Fabric or AI Control Plane.
Familiarity with MCP, A2A, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel.
Regulated-industry background.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $69.34/hour - $108.35/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
