Data Modeler

Must Have Skills:

• 7 years experience in all of the following tools areas

• Data bricks

• dbt

• Dagster

• Elementary

• Data Modelling
  
  

Nice to have skills:

• Experience in data engineering and data modeling for data warehouses and data lakes

• Knowledge experience in Banking and/or Financial services domain

• Experience in querying and profiling data sources

• Experience using any data modeling tool

• Strong documentation and communication skills
  

Responsibilities:

• Strong Data modeling Conceptual Logical Physical 3nF Dimensional at both a project and enterprise level

• Dimensional Modeling with experience in crafting conformed dimensions that can be used across Business Units

• DataModeling Tool such as Power designer Oracle Designer or Erwin

• Experience working with Data Engineering and Data Analytics teams

• Understanding of principles and standard methodologies around Data Architecture

• Ability to write SQL to query data ideally ANSI SQL

• Solid grasp of Database technologies techniques and trends

• Experience with Snowflake experience a plus

• Experience with data governance and meta data management tools and standard methodologies a plus

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to explain Data structures to a nontechnical audience

• Results oriented with proven ability to work independently

• Good interpersonal negotiating and influencing skills
  
  

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $51.78/hour - $80.90/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
