Data Analyst specializing in SQL and Databricks responsible for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data to derive business insights within the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. Your role
- Writing and executing complex SQL queries to extract data from various sources within the Databricks Lakehouse.
- Transforming raw data into suitable formats for analysis using SQL and Databricks features like Delta Lake.
- Importing and ingesting data into Databricks
- Performing ad-hoc and exploratory data analysis using Databricks SQL and the SQL Editor.
- Create dashboards within Databricks SQL to present findings and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize Tableau as required.
- Understanding and utilizing Unity Catalog for data discovery, governance, access control, and lineage tracking.
- Managing data objects, tables, and views within the Databricks environment.
- Ensuring data quality and reliability throughout the analysis process.
