JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform the requested analytical activities as directed by ALCS subject matter experts (SMEs). This work will consist of conducting qualitative, semi-quantitative, and quantitative determinations by gas chromatography (GC), liquid chromatography (LC), mass spectrometry (MS), GC/MS, LC/MS, GC-FID, and LC-UV. Other activities might also consist of dissolution, thermal, physical, and spectroscopic characterizations, including measurements of pH, water activity, water content, particle size, calorimetry, hardness, viscosity, and other physical or wet chemistry properties.
Qualifications/skill sets: ? Bachelor?s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or closely related field with demonstrated experience in an analytical testing laboratory
- Proficiency with method development and validation using LC-MS, GC-MS, GC-FID, and/or LC-UV of complex matrices following ICH guidelines
- Proficiency with chromatography and mass spectrometry data analysis software?s such as MassLynx, Chromeleon, ChemStation, MassHunter, etc
- Experience with sample preparation and extraction techniques (LL, SPE, etc.) for the quantitative analysis of target compounds in complex matrices
- Experience in dissolution testing using USP-4 or other USP apparatuses
- Experience in physical and thermal characterizations
- Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills
- Experience authoring technical and regulatory documents
- Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft products
Role : Experienced chromatographer proficient in GC, LC, and hyphenated technique method development and validations in a regulatory environment where authorship of technical documents is required
