Key Responsibilities:
As a Change Control Lead, you will be responsible for governing, evaluating, and driving all software and configuration
changes impacting video/set-top box platforms, ensuring stability, quality, and minimal customer impact.You will lead the change review and approval process by assessing risk, impact, and readiness of proposed changes across video systems, middleware, firmware, and network components.
You will leverage strong analytical thinking to evaluate field issues, proposed fixes, and enhancements, ensuring that only well-vetted and high-quality changes are promoted to production.
You will collaborate closely with triage, development, QA, release management, and operations teams to ensure alignment on priorities, root cause insights, and deployment strategies.
You will drive decision-making during change control boards (CCB), balancing urgency, risk, and business impact while providing clear recommendations.
You will analyze Business Intelligence, telemetry, and field metrics (e.g., crash rates, playback failures, network performance) to proactively identify risks associated with changes and prevent regressions.
You will ensure proper change documentation, traceability, rollback strategies, and compliance with release governance processes.
You will lead incident reviews related to change failures and drive continuous improvement in change management practices.
You will operate in a fast-paced environment, coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
You will mentor and guide team members, leveraging team strengths and improving capabilities through training and structured processes.
You will stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and best practices in video platforms, cloud services, monitoring systems, and DevOps methodologies.
