The AEM Solution Designer/Business Analyst will define business functions, processes and requirements for client marketing and commerce systems. Candidates should have experience working with clients to elicit functional requirements, define user experience needs, and effectively communicate those requirements to the technical team.
In addition, this role includes creating user stories, identifying key dependencies, and defining acceptance criteria, with strong experience in Agile methodologies (especially user story writing).
This role will enable the transformation and performance improvement of an enterprise, with respect to people, process and technology, by providing relevant capabilities, processes and tools. Business Analysts structure, analyze and visualize an enterprise’s current state, design and functional gaps. They visualize the future state, design and guide the change process from current to future state.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for gathering business requirements from business users, and helping them flesh out those requirements to a detailed level that all can easily understand
Create user stories, define acceptance criteria, and identify dependencies to support Agile delivery
Participate in Agile ceremonies and support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization
Responsible for documenting business requirements in a way that effectively conveys the required functionality to the customer and to the technical staff.
Responsible for insuring that the technical staff thoroughly and accurately understands the business requirements, and interprets those requirements correctly into technical specifications.
Responsible for tracking progress on delivery of specific features to the customer, and addressing any business issues that arise during the development process.
Support integration efforts between front-end applications and Adobe CMS, ensuring alignment with business and UX requirements
Key Skills and Experience:
5+ years of relevant professional experience and a Bachelor Degree in a relevant area; or without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (8+ years in total)
Ability to apply consulting skills to solve a client business problem
Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence
Demonstrates the use of consulting skills including: questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing
Strong written and oral communications skills
Strong experience with Agile methodologies, particularly user story creation and management
Strong understanding of front-end/UI concepts and integration patterns, especially in CMS-driven environments
Exposure to content authoring using Adobe Universal Editor is nice to have
Experience with CMS migrations (e.g., Sitecore to Adobe) and multi-tenant environments is a strong plus
Ability to understand complex business problems and offer meaningful solutions
Experience with web marketing and commerce systems, Adobe Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred
Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) - Business Practitioner a plus
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $52.06/hour - $81.35/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
