We are seeking an experienced AEM Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams in delivering Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)–based digital experience solutions.
This role requires strong expertise in requirements analysis, story decomposition, and digital platform capabilities, with a focus on AEM Sites, Digital Asset Management (DAM), Headless CMS, and AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
The ideal candidate will proactively guide stakeholders on what is possible within the Adobe platform, while ensuring clear, actionable requirements are delivered to engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Requirement Definition:
Engage with business stakeholders to capture, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements
Translate business needs into detailed user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
Break down high-level requirements into implementable backlog items for AEM development teams
Ensure end-to-end traceability from business requirements to technical delivery
AEM & Digital Experience Capabilities Alignment:
Act as a subject matter advisor on AEM capabilities, including:
AEM Sites (headful and page-driven experiences)
AEM Assets (Digital Asset Management – DAM)
Headless CMS (Content Fragments, APIs, GraphQL-based delivery)
Proactively guide stakeholders on:
Platform capabilities and constraints
Best-fit approaches (headless vs headful vs hybrid)
Reusable content models and structured content strategies
Backlog Management & Agile Delivery:
Develop and maintain product backlog, epics, and detailed user stories
Conduct backlog grooming and refinement sessions with technical teams
Support sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
Ensure stories are well-defined, testable, and aligned with business objectives
Collaboration with Technical Teams:
Work closely with architects and developers to:
Clarify requirements and remove ambiguities
Align on technical feasibility and design patterns
Support solution validation and acceptance testing
Facilitate communication between business, UX, and engineering teams
AEM Cloud & Platform Understanding:
Support initiatives involving AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
Ensure requirements align with cloud-native and scalable architecture principles
Digital Asset & Content Strategy:
Define requirements for Digital Asset Management (DAM) including:
Asset lifecycle management
Metadata, tagging, and taxonomy
Content governance and reuse strategies
Enable scalable content models supporting multi-channel delivery
Analytics & Data (Good to Have):
Collaborate on requirements related to:
Adobe Analytics (tracking, reporting, KPIs)
Customer Data Platforms (CDP) / audience segmentation
Support definition of data layer and measurement strategies
Required Skills & Experience:
Core Business Analysis Skills:
5 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital or MarTech platforms
Strong expertise in:
Requirements gathering and documentation
User story and backlog creation
Agile / Scrum methodologies
Experience translating business needs into technical requirements for CMS platforms
Adobe AEM Platform Knowledge:
Hands-on understanding of:
AEM Sites, AEM Assets (DAM)
Headless AEM (Content Fragments, APIs)
AEM workflows, templates, and content structures
Familiarity with AEM Cloud (AEMaaCS) concepts and delivery models
Technical Awareness:
Working knowledge of:
Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
API-driven architectures and integrations
Ability to understand and document technical constraints and dependencies
Stakeholder & Communication Skills:
Strong ability to:
Influence business stakeholders
Facilitate workshops and requirement sessions
Communicate complex technical concepts in business terms
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Financial Services / Insurance domain (content-heavy regulated environments)
Exposure to Adobe Analytics, Adobe CDP, or Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
Experience working on headless CMS implementations and omnichannel platforms
Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Adobe-related certifications

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $46.23/hour - $72.23/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
