What are the responsibilities and job description for the Houseman position at Cape Resorts?
Position Overview:
Main responsibility is to remove and stock guest room closets with linen & towels from laundry department.
These duties may be described as, but not limited to:
- Report to work as schedules in proper uniform.
- Clock in/out on company’s time system.
- Organize guest room closets daily.
- Remain friendly and always outgoing towards guests.
- Report to supervisor any unsafe condition in guest room or hotel hallways.
- Remove all soiled linen (dish trays) from hallways.
- Collect and stock beach/cabana towels as requested.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to work under pressure required.
- Maintain friendly and spirited attitude towards guests and employees.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent required.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
