Cape Point Bait is a successful and growing wholesale distributor of recreational quality fishing bait products, serving retailers from GA to DE. We are searching for dependable PART-TIME SEASONAL delivery driver for regional coastal routes. Our drivers deliver frozen fish and bait products to bait and tackle, wildlife, and retail customers on a scheduled delivery route Tue-Fri. The driver interacts with customers in person, helps customers with bait selection, and stocks retail customer freezer shelves. Drivers must be able to handle 10-12 hr. days of physical work. Overnight travel may be required approximately 1-2 nights per week during the busy season of May-Oct. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) not required. Commercial driver medical certification and drug testing will be performed as part of application process.
Selection Criteria
- Physically able to lift 50lbs from floor to waist height
- Experience driving box trucks (under 26,000lbs)
- Must pass DOT medical exam
- Strong communication skills
- Clean driving record with 2 years driving experience
- Good eye for detail to accurately deliver correct products
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of saltwater fishing related products and techniques desirable
