Job Requirements:
Cape Fox Lodge is seeking a Janitor to maintain cleanliness of the beautiful Cape Fox Lodge, the premier lodging destination in Ketchikan.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Cleaning the lobby
- Cleaning the restaurant
- Cleaning outside the lodge building
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the other hotel areas and hotel grounds
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work with efficiency in a high-paced environment.
- Adherence to hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Positive attitude and a good team player.
- Active listening and effective communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Flexible availability to work a variable schedule, including but not limited to evenings, holidays and weekends.
- Able to lift upwards of 50 pounds
- Physical stamina for standing for long periods throughout shifts
- Ability to work with chemicals, dust, allergens, etc. without issue
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
