Location: Clallam Bay School
Salary: 4 hrs a day starting early April through the end of the school year

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Two years experience in secretarial related field
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Software
- Current First Aid/CPR certificate or successful completion of District class.
- Valid Washington State Drivers License
- Can obtain clearances from Washington State Patrol/FBI background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- College training in business, accounting, human resources, public relations or demonstrated successful experience in these areas.
- Secretarial/Clerical experiences in a K-12 education system.
- Experience in working with Qmlative in order to process daily tasks as well as being able to assist staff , parents, and students in becoming proficient in using the program.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- The ability to efficiently use technology to perform professional tasks, including Microsoft Suite, Google applications and additional software specific to the operations of a K-12 school.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with students, staff and parents.
- Exhibit an appropriate demeanor conducive to a public work setting associated with being a role model for children, youth and other employees.
- Reliable and responsible with good work ethic and regular attendance.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of people.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
Essential Job Functions: Person may perform any combination of the essential functions shown below. - Answer telephone. Greet public and provide routine information and direct inquiries to the appropriate person or office. Make phone calls to request, provide or verify information as directed.
- Maintains a high level of accuracy, organization and neatness in document production.
- Keep accurate student records as directed to facilitate required state and/or federal reports.
- Consistently meets required deadlines.
- Daily utilization of computer, copier, fax, and printers to duplicate and distribute a variety of records, reports and other materials as directed.
- Communicate to the staff information that affects their area of responsibility.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records inclusive of attendance, absenteeism, etc and complete necessary forms required by district office regarding personnel.
- Coordinate payroll with district office. Assist other staff members with leave slips, time sheets and payroll status forms.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Participate in in-service and related professional growth activities as assigned and appropriate.
- Perform other necessary and reasonable duties as assigned.
