Summary
The CT Assistant is fully competent to perform all radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures for the diagnosis of specific diseases or conditions
EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:
Graduation from an accredited program in the radiologic sciences. ARRT (Radiography) registered, or registry eligible. Current AHA BLS certification.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years of experience preferred. New graduates may apply that are ARRT registered or registry eligible. But new graduates that are registry eligible must be registered by ARRT in Radiography within twelve months of hire date.
Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills. Verbal and written skills required. Demonstrates good patient care, demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and understands the range of treatment needed for all age groups. Provide care based on the patient’s developmental needs. Experienced in the treatment of and interacts effectively with patients of all ages to include neo-natal, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
