What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School English Teacher position at Cape Cod Regional Technical High School?
We are seeking a talented and MA certified English Language Arts teacher who will thrive in our collaborative ELA Department.
The successful candidate will have a commitment to the success of every student, along with the skills and desire to teach a diverse set of learners. Qualified candidates must exhibit knowledge/experience in:
* MA ELA frameworks and current pedagogy in ELA instruction including planning, delivering instruction and assessing active learning experiences to address learning targets
* utilizing differentiated instructional and assessment methods to support the learning needs of students at varying levels of progress
Additionally, the successful candidate will:
* contribute to the on-going goals of the English Department
* engage in collaborative work practices to positively impact student learning outcomes
* participate in professional development and Professional Learning Communities
AP experience a plus
Special education experience and/or certification a plus
Co-teaching experience or a willingness to co-teach a plus
SEI Endorsement a plus
Salary : $63,114 - $76,608
