Anticipated 0.6 Dental Assisting Instructor (3-days a week)

Candidates should possess strong content knowledge as well as a desire to teach and work with young adults. MA Dept of Elementary and Secondary Education Chapter 74 license in Dental Assisting and/or teaching experience preferred. Non-licensed applicants applying may be eligible for a one-year waiver to complete Preliminary License requirements, providing that they can pass a CORI and fingerprint background checks, have an Associate degree or higher related to the subject matter and skills to be taught, possess at least four years full-time work experience related to dental assisting and possess required dental assisting certification. Cape Cod Tech, located in Harwich MA, offers robust, hands-on technical education to high school students living in a twelve-town district.

Students obtain industry certifications and credentials as well as the their high school diploma to prepare for careers and college. The school building is only two years old and has a state of the art learning environment.
