What you will do Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to always ensure patient safety. These policies, procedures and protocols can be issued by Shields or the partnering hospital group for the location you are assigned to. Monitor patients during various MRI exams. Recognition and early management of respiratory or cardiac rhythm abnormalities, report abnormalities to the Radiologist overseeing case and ED Physician, initiate hospital code blue procedures as needed. Assists patients when brought into room connecting monitor, BP and O2 Sat as directed. Compliance with performance improvement clinical benchmarks. Follows operational flow and procedures efficiently and effectively to maximize utilization. Demonstrates effective and positive teamwork and initiative during operations, within the radiology department. Works collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel. Assists with positioning patients for their MRI scans. Assists with patient medical and safety screenings. Additional responsibilities as identified. What you need: ACLS certification and fantastic interpersonal skills. Sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time Assist patients with mobility difficulties To push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds Above physical requirements can be met with or without accommodation Additional Job Description: Pay range for this position is $25-$42/hr benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. It is not intended that this Job Description include all details of the work functions of this position.
