What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff RN - Per Diem position at Cape Cod Eye Surgery & Laser Center?
This Registered Nurse is a per diem position and must be available to work 10-hour shifts (Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday) at Cape Cod Eye Surgery & Laser Center, located in Sandwich, MA. These 10-hour shifts generally start at 6:30 am and typically end no later than 5:00 pm. Per diems are typically called in for approximately two shifts per month.
No weekends. No evenings.

Responsibilities
While adhering to the standards of professional nursing practice within the state of Massachusetts and the Centers policies and procedures, this role provides individualized and specialized nursing care to patients.
The RN maintains the standards of professional nursing care which includes continuous assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing and evaluating the patient care and providing patient education.
Education and Experience
- Must be a graduate of a college or university and/or accredited school of nursing and maintain a current license from the MA state Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of two (2) years of medical/surgical nursing experience is required.
- Operating room experience is preferred.
- Ophthalmology experience is preferred.
- State annual education requirements are mandatory.

Pay: $38.30 - $57.47 per hour
