What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Cape Cod Coffee?
We are looking for a Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff at Cape Cod Coffee @ Mashpee Commons! Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading dishwasher and stacking washed items appropriately. Essential Functions
o Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into the dish machine
o Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
o Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
o Unload dishes and utensils from the dish machine and organize them properly
o Empty trash containers regularly
o Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed
o Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
o Clean food prep stations and equipment
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
o High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
o Restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required
o Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
o Must be able to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
o Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
o Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly
o Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
o Working knowledge of sanitation procedures
