What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endoscopy PACU RN position at Cape and Islands Endoscopy Center?
Cape and Islands Endoscopy Center is looking to add a per diem RN to our team. We are a fast paced Endoscopy Center located in Hyannis. We operate Monday to Friday 6:00am- 4:30pm. We have positions available anywhere from 2-4 days a week, 8-10 hour work days.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Admitting patients to the Center.
- Assisting Physicians during procedures.
- Following patients in recovery to discharge.
- Overseeing patient and staff flow and monitoring those policies and procedures are followed.
- Additional duties include maintaining the emergency cart, ordering and inventorying medication, giving pre-procedure instruction and participating in Quality Management projects.
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
· Endoscopy or Ambulatory Surgery experience preferred
· PACU experience highly preferred.
· Current MA state RN license required.
· Current BLS & ACLS certifications required, or obtained within 6 months of employment (reimbursement given if obtained after hire)
· Must be a team-player with excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
· Compassion for patient needs and a high degree of professionalism.
Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
