Why this job is exciting

The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior IT Engineer to join our company. As the

Senior IT Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance and support of

our IT infrastructure. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills,

and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

We are not looking for a cog in the machine — we need a creative, proactive thinker who will actively

shape and build our IT ecosystem, driving innovation and helping architect solutions that power

Capacity’s future.

If you’re expecting to do the same repetitive tasks day after day, this isn’t the role for you. We’re looking

for someone who thrives on variety, embraces challenges and is excited to solve new problems every

day.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain scalable and secure internal IT solutions that empower and support our team members.
  • Build Workflows in Okta and Rippling (HRIS).
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex IT issues.
  • Manage and administer multiple SaaS platforms.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior IT staff members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT engineering or a similar role.
  • Experience (5-7 years) with desktop operating systems (macOS, Windows 11, Linux Ubuntu).
  • Experience with Okta and building Okta Workflows.
  • Experience (3-5 years) with Mobile Device Management (JumpCloud, Intune).
  • Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Associate Google Workspace Administrator, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.

You Are Motivated By

  • Hustle: You inspire others to work as hard as you. You will find a way, no matter how hard the task is.
  • Ownership: You have an owner/builder mentality. You care about what you deliver and own your mistakes.
  • Proactivity: You don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do or what problems to solve. You are always looking for ways to learn and improve.
  • Excellence: You set a high bar and surpass expectations. You hit your goals and ask for more.
  • Humility: You are not above any task in the organization and are willing to drop what you’re doing to help a teammate.
