CSG is seeking a commercially driven sponsorship executive to create and lead one enterprise-wide sponsorship business across the platform.
The Senior Vice President of Sponsorship Sales will establish the strategy, inventory, team, processes and partnerships required to materially grow sponsorship revenue. This executive will personally lead CSG's most important national opportunities while building a repeatable sales engine that connects brands to the full reach and value of the platform.
Role
Build CSG into a premier sponsorship platform in youth sports by packaging its collective audience, content, events, facilities,
data and community reach into differentiated partnerships that produce measurable value for brands and sustainable revenue for CSG.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Strategy and Platform Development
 Develop and execute the enterprise sponsorship strategy, annual revenue plan and multi-year growth roadmap.
 Create a complete platform-wide inventory of sponsorship assets across events, facilities, digital products, content, data,
media, hospitality and community programming.
 Build integrated national packages that combine multiple CSG businesses while preserving strong local and property-level
opportunities.
 Establish clear pricing, packaging, category strategy, exclusivity guidelines and inventory governance.
 Identify new monetizable assets and work across the organization to bring them to market.
Revenue Leadership and Business Development
 Own the enterprise sponsorship revenue target, pipeline and forecast.
 Personally originate, negotiate and close CSG's largest and most strategic national partnerships.
 Develop relationships with senior brand marketers, agencies and decision-makers across priority categories.
 Expand existing partners across additional CSG properties, markets and activation opportunities.
 Build a balanced portfolio of multi-year national partnerships, strategic regional accounts and high-value local programs.
Team and Sales-Engine Leadership
 Design the sponsorship organization and recruit, develop and lead a high-performing sales team as the platform grows.
 Implement consistent prospecting, account planning, proposal development, CRM, pipeline management and forecasting
disciplines.
 Set individual and team goals, compensation principles, activity standards and performance expectations.
 Create a culture of urgency, collaboration, accountability and commercial creativity.
 Provide the Chief Revenue Officer and executive team with accurate forecasts, pipeline visibility and actionable
performance reporting.
Cross-Platform Leadership and Fulfillment
 Partner with business-unit leaders to align enterprise selling with local relationships, operating priorities and available
inventory.
 Work with marketing, content, digital, events, facilities, finance and legal teams to develop compelling, executable
programs.
 Ensure every partnership sold can be delivered at a high level, with clear ownership, activation plans and measurable
outcomes.
 Create renewal and account-growth processes that improve partner retention and lifetime value.
 Represent CSG as a senior commercial leader at industry events, client meetings and key platform activations.
Measures of Success
 Achievement of annual sponsorship revenue targets.
 Growth in contracted multi-year revenue and average partnership value.
 Development of a healthy, diversified and forecastable enterprise pipeline.
 Expansion of national partners across multiple CSG assets and business units.
 Partner renewal, retention and account-growth performance.
 Successful development of platform inventory, pricing and sales infrastructure.
 Recruitment and performance of the sponsorship sales organization.
 Quality and consistency of partnership execution and sponsor satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
 Proven senior sponsorship sales leader with a strong record of originating and closing significant, complex partnerships.
 Experience building sponsorship strategy and commercial infrastructure across a multi-property sports, media,
entertainment or experiential platform.
 Deep relationships with brands, agencies and senior marketing decision-makers.
 Demonstrated ability to sell integrated partnerships spanning physical events, media, digital, content, data and experiential assets.
 Experience hiring, leading and holding accountable high-performing sales professionals.
 Strong commercial judgment, financial acumen and command of pipeline management and forecasting.
 Collaborative, low-ego operator who can influence business-unit leaders and work effectively in a fast-growing,
acquisition-oriented environment.
 Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create structure without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
 Excellent communicator, negotiator and executive-level presenter.
 Willingness to travel regularly across CSG markets, properties and partner locations.
Leadership Attributes
 Builder: Creates strategy, structure and capability where none yet exists.
 Seller: Thrives in the market and personally advances the biggest opportunities.
 Enterprise-minded: Optimizes for the full value of CSG, not a single property or business.
 Operator: Understands that revenue only becomes valuable when partnerships can be delivered well.
 Accountable leader: Sets a high bar, measures performance and addresses gaps directly.
 Relationship-driven: Builds lasting trust with partners, colleagues and acquired-company leaders.
