Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDL Driver to join our day and night shift team. The ideal candidate will have experience with end dumps, belly dumps, or pneumatic tanks. Our drivers will be responsible for transporting our material safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate tanker trucks to transport material to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo, utilizing equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent spills or accidents during transportation.
- Perform routine maintenance on the vehicle as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with at least 2 years of experience with CDL
- Proven experience in truck driving, specifically with tankers or similar vehicles.
- Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities.
- Ability to operate various types of trucks including dump trucks, tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and forklifts is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
