Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Installer role based in Norwood or Westboro MA. The Installer is responsible for professionally installing a wide range of truck, van, and SUV accessories, including caps, racks, bed liners, hitches, lighting, and related products according to manufacturer specifications and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing work orders, preparing vehicles and parts for installation, using hand and power tools safely, and ensuring accurate, secure fitment of all accessories. The role involves interacting with customers to explain installations, answer basic product questions, and provide a positive service experience. The Installer also helps maintain a clean and organized work area, follows safety procedures, and supports inventory handling and occasional assistance in the showroom as needed.
Qualifications
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude, basic automotive knowledge, and comfort using hand and power tools safely and accurately.
- Ability to read and follow installation instructions, work orders, and manufacturer guidelines with strong attention to detail.
- Customer service skills, including clear communication, professional demeanor, and willingness to explain installation work to customers.
- Physical ability to lift and move truck caps and accessories, stand for extended periods, and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Commitment to safety procedures, quality standards, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work full-time on-site in Orlando, FL, including occasional Saturdays as business needs require.
- Prior experience in automotive, truck accessories, or related installation work is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
