In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes orders, and ensures every visit exceeds expectations. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely service

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience with a strong background in food service
• Proficiency with POS systems
• Demonstrated culinary experience or knowledge of food handling, preparation, sanitation, and food safety standards
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest satisfaction
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
