What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per Diem RN or LPN position at CAP Quality Care?
CAP Quality Care is seeking a per diem nurse to join our team. CAP Quality Care provides a schedule that offers a great work/life balance. It is a first shift position, perfect for nurses who may have afternoon/evening obligations. Weekdays nurses work 5:00am-1pm. Saturdays hours are 6:00am-10:30am, with a shift differential offered. During the week nurses receive a 1 hour paid lunch during their shift!
CAP is seeking a nurse to work 8-16 hours a week. Some Saturday morning availability is required. There is no heavy lifting and there is limited direct physical contact with patients in comparison to typical nursing positions.
Candidate does not need to have prior experience with addiction or mental health nursing. Employees will receive full training/orientation and education!
The primary nursing function is to medicate and assess patients. The nurse will be accountable for accurate and timely documentation. Additional duties include, but not limited to:
- Safe and accurate administration of medications as prescribed, including patient observation
- Compliance with CAP Quality Care policy and procedures per state, federal and Joint Commission regulations
- Accurate documentation
- PPD Administration as required by regulation
