A minimum of one year in resinous concrete coating installation, particularly with polyurea, epoxy, or polyaspartic systems, is essential. Proficiency in operating Lavina grinders or equivalent planetary concrete grinders, as well as experience with shot blasting equipment, is critical for successful surface preparation. Attention to detail is key, requiring familiarity with trowel-applied coatings and an understanding of concrete surface preparation standards (CSP profiles). The role demands physical stamina, as you must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs regularly and work on your hands and knees for extended periods.
Additionally, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a willingness to work flexible hours are necessary. Adequate safety awareness is required due to exposure to dust, chemical vapors, and noise while completing tasks both indoors and outdoors.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
