Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces as needed
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to clean surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery effectively
- Dust surfaces, clean windows, and maintain overall tidiness throughout the home
- Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and floor care techniques
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and floor buffers confidently
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and supplies to ensure safe and effective use
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments
- Good physical stamina to get the job done thoroughly and in a timely manner
- Effective client communication skills to understand preferences and deliver outstanding service
