What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Cap America?
Position Summary:
Process all art associated with orders. Manage the design requests and complete in a timely manner. Design per customer request conceptual headwear for overseas or domestic production.
Primary Essential Functions:
- Communicating with fellow staff members to ensure customer’s needs are met.
- Confer with clients to discuss and determine layout design.
- Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
- Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations and company logos.
- Use computer software to generated designs.
- Responding to all inquiries from customers to understand clearly what type of direction is needed.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Photoshop or have the desire to learn, possess artistic ability as well as a basic fundamental understanding of design and color theory.
- Must have the ability to work closely with other people.
- Must be punctual and have a positive work attitude.
- Ability to answer a high volume of calls and/or emails daily
- Attentiveness and patience
- Time-management skills
- Detail oriented
- Some sitting, standing, walking, lifting (over 75 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, and pulling required.
