Job Description:
- Provide an atmosphere conducive to good sportsmanship.
- Assist in conducting tryouts for a team or for an individual to participate in a competition; help select the players for a team who will represent the school.
- Assist in practices by instructing and working with athletes to direct them with perfecting their abilities and providing them guidance in keeping fit for competition and teaching them how to react under the pressure of competitive play.
- Comply with the rules and regulations and comply with all Utah High School Activities Association mandates and requests.
- Communicate to all students the policies of the team, school, and school district relating to school sponsored sports activities.
- Complete reports and forms as required.
- Foster a safe, welcoming and respectful environment.
- Fulfill supervision responsibilities for all practices, locker rooms, games and team trips.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Preferred Skills:
Strong dance and drill background.
Ability to work with high school aged dancers.
