Schedule: Part time Varied, 8 - 10 hour shifts, 1 night weekly on call

How you’ll contribute
- Coordinate and provide pharmaceutical care for patients, collaborating with interprofessional team to optimize safe, effective medication use.
- Review and verify orders, manage drug therapy protocols, educate staff/patients, and support quality and regulatory standards.
- Manage drug therapy protocols as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Review, interpret, and evaluate medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related problems.
- Provide drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, patients, and pharmacy students.
- Document interventions and outcomes for drug therapy quality improvement.
- Verify medication orders for accuracy/completeness prior to entry.
- Check filled medications prepared by technicians.
- Maintain proficiency with pharmacy automated systems and software.
- Manage patients in an outpatient anticoagulation clinic, including point-of-care testing, result evaluation, dosing, and scheduling.
- Participates in performance improvement and required continuing education.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should have a doctorate degree. Additional requirements include:
Current license with the state Board of Pharmacy.
BLS required.
ACLS preferred.
