Communications Design Specialist

Position Summary Canyon View Vineyard Church is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Communications Design Specialist to support our mission through compelling visual and digital content. This role is responsible for graphic design, video production, and communication support across ministries, events, and platforms.

The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and passionate about using creativity to help people engage with the life and mission of the church.

Key Responsibilities

• Design graphics and create content for print, digital, and social media
• Capture and edit photo and video content
• Manage in-house print projects (bulletins, signage, promotional materials)
• Support event promotion and church-wide communications
• Assist with website updates and social media management
• Provide Sunday service support as needed
• Help coordinate and support communications volunteers
• Assist with administrative and project-based communications tasks

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of graphic design experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; video tools a plus)
• Strong eye for design, layout, and brand consistency
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Video production experience preferred
• Heart for church ministry and alignment with CVVC’s mission

Schedule

• 32 hours/week (primarily Sunday–Thursday)
• Mostly in-office with some flexibility
• Occasional evening or event-based hours as needed
