Want to learn more about the kitchen than just cleaning? Great! Many talented chefs started their careers washing dishes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy kitchen and support our culinary team beyond cleanliness responsibilities.
- Operations: Washes all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, steam kettles, etc., and ensures they meet Canyon Ranch standards regarding cleanliness. You will be working independently and supporting the culinary team with their supples.
- Cleanliness: Cleans, organizes, and maintains the kitchen and surrounding areas including sweeping and washing floor as directed. This includes organizing, transporting and dumping refuse in the correct dumpsters as directed.
- Organization: Organizing, assembling and stocking kitchen located machines to support kitchen staff in production of Guests’ dishes; Maintains the dishwasher, setting it up for service, changing the water as necessary, changing the detergents and rinser as necessary and breaking down and cleaning it as directed; May also run errands and support other tasks to support kitchen and food service venue staff.
