What You’ll Do

✔ Estimate with Accuracy – Analyze plans, specifications, and proposals to create detailed and competitive cost estimates.

✔ Collaborate with Vendors & Subcontractors – Obtain competitive pricing for materials and services to ensure cost-effective bids.

✔ Budget & Forecast – Prepare plumbing budgets, calculate labor and material costs, and contribute to preliminary scheduling.

✔ Support Project Execution – Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure projects stay within estimated budgets.

✔ Stay Ahead of the Industry – Keep up with local and national plumbing codes, labor standards, and emerging construction technologies.

What You Bring to the Team

Experience & Technical Knowledge

• 3 years of experience in commercial plumbing estimating

• Proficiency in Quotesoft, Autobid Mechanical, and Bluebeam

• Strong understanding of plumbing codes, labor, and material costs

• Experience preparing square-foot budgets, take-offs, and cost analyses

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills to ensure accuracy in estimating

• Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple bids simultaneously

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients

• Ability to interpret project contracts, specifications, and bid requirements

• Manual takeoff capability

• Tech & software savvy

• Must be able to complete estimates with minimal supervision
