Key Responsibilities:
- Submit insurance claims accurately and efficiently through our EMR system.
- Post charges and payments into the system with attention to detail.
- Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Work directly with attorneys and legal representatives for personal injury or accident-related case management.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
- Collaborate with providers and front office staff to ensure billing information is correct and complete.
- Communicate with insurance companies to verify benefits and resolve billing issues.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all other regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service when handling patient billing inquiries.
- Stay updated on billing and coding changes relevant to chiropractic and physical therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in medical billing (chiropractic and/or physical therapy preferred).
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes, CPT codes, and EOB interpretation.
- Experience working with personal injury and attorney-based cases is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
