Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Physical Therapy Assistant, located in Ogden, UT. The Physical Therapy Assistant will assist physical therapists in providing treatments to patients, help patients perform specific exercises, and use special equipment. The role also includes recording patients' progress, providing feedback to the therapist, and supporting patients during their rehabilitation exercises to ensure they follow their plans effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience in assisting with physical therapy treatments and exercises
- Strong understanding of safety and cleanliness standards in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective support and encouragement to patients
- Detail-oriented with the ability to record and report patient progress accurately
- Empathetic and patient-focused approach to providing care
- Ability to follow instructions and work closely with healthcare professionals
- Relevant certification or associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
