Position Overview:
Canyon Grove Academy Secondary School, Grades 7-12, is seeking a qualified and dynamic Concurrent Enrollment Fine Arts Teacher to join our team. This position involves teaching college-level fine arts courses to high school students in an in-person setting. The ideal candidate will inspire creativity, foster artistic growth, and ensure students meet both high school and college academic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and rigorous in-person instruction in Fine Arts for dual credit (high school and college).
- Develop lesson/adapt plans to align with both high school curriculum and college-level course outcomes.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback in accordance with institutional grading policies.
- Collaborate with high school faculty and college partner institution to ensure curriculum alignment and academic integrity.
- Maintain accurate records for both high school and college reporting requirements.
- Support students in developing artistic techniques, critical thinking, and appreciation for the visual or performing arts.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and department meetings.
- Teach other high school elective courses like Photography, Digital Media, etc. These would not be concurrent enrollment classes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Fine Arts or a related subject area (required).
- Experience: Teaching experience and current Utah license preferred; experience with concurrent enrollment programs is a plus.
- Licensure: Valid state teaching license or ability to obtain appropriate certification (if applicable)

Work Environment:

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
