Canyon Grove Academy is looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, and service minded candidate to join our library team.
Pay: $18-$21 an hour depending on experience.
Job Type: This will be a full time, year round position starting immediately.
Responsibilities include:
- Rostering and maintaining student online subscriptions.
- Inventorying returns and monitoring kit replacement needs and workroom materials.
- Cataloging and managing collections.
- Assisting with student checkout.
- Shelving returned materials.
- Maintaining order and organization within the library and workroom areas.
- Helping students locate library materials.
- Collaborating with the other members of the library team and the staff to promote the mission of Canyon Grove.
- Communicating with staff and parents in a professional and timely manner to address needs and concerns.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to multitask and work independently.
- Experienced with GSuite and comfortable with quickly learning how to use various different educational software platforms and programs.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills. Can stay calm under pressure.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
