Job description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Freight Truck Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle the daily operations and customer service, including taking orders, managing the load board, building shipments, dispatching trucks, and negotiating with freight carriers.
Monitor real-time operations and quickly resolve service or staffing issues.
Communicate with drivers, customers, warehouse teams, and leadership.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and service levels.
Ensure company safety and operational policies are consistently followed.
- Qualifications
3 years of experience in transportation dispatch, logistics, fleet operations, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS).
Proven ability to lead a team and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with dispatch/TMS software, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to analyze operational data and improve performance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
On Call Rotation-Required
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
