Your primary focus will be on assisting customers with their deli orders, making sandwiches, cooking chicken and maintaining a clean and organized deli area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist them with their deli selections
- Prepare and package deli products such as meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches according to customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, including food safety protocols
- Monitor and restock deli inventory to ensure products are readily available for customers
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote special items or offers to customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli department
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of deli products in compliance with health regulations
Requirements:
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy deli setting
