Overview
Canyon Creek Mechanical Corporation is a market leader in Eastern Idaho in both Commercial Kitchen and Commercial HVAC/R industries. Right now we are looking for technicians that have HVAC/R experience that are honest and reliable. In this role you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of kitchen equipment in some of east Idaho's most prestigious restaurants. Your mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot issues will be essential in ensuring that our clients' kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment, including refrigeration units, ovens, and dishwashers.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Assemble and install new kitchen appliances according to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct field service visits to client locations using a company vehicle for transportation of tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues related to kitchen appliances.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in on-call rotation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the kitchen equipment or appliance repair industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various types of kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to electrical systems in appliances.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Journeyman HVAC/R License with State of Idaho
- EPA certifications to handle common refrigerants (HCFC, HFC, HFO, HC)
