Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions including cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure the highest level of infection control.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
- Educate patients on preventive care and proper oral hygiene practices..
Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and medical documentation practices.
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
